The Monongahela River Tunnel (MRT) is the third major tunnel in the regional system. It will serve communities along the Monongahela River corridor, completing the three-tunnel network that forms the backbone of the Clean Water Plan. The MRT is in early conceptual planning, with route options and community outreach still ahead.
